Night one of the 2023 AFL Draft saw 29 prospects reach their dreams of becoming a professional footballer, with a similar tally of teenagers set to follow their footsteps on Tuesday night.

Night one saw the year's best players drafted, while a number of bolters emerged and a total of seven father-son or Academy players earned bids to see the first-round selection tally balloon out to almost a top 30.

West Coast are set to open night two of the draft and will likely field offers from rivals for their selection of Pick 30, with Brisbane, Geelong, Carlton and Richmond to follow.

The Lions and Tigers are looking to make their opening selections early into the second round, and will have access to a number of formidable draft prospects who were overlooked on Monday night.

These are seven of the best prospects still on offer for night two of the 2023 AFL Draft and the clubs that could select them.

Archer Reid

The Gippsland Power forward is likely to be among the first few selected on night two and will be deemed unlucky not to have his name called on Monday night.

Is a towering and athletic attacker who has also honed his ruck craft over the year to strengthen his case.

Represented Vic Country, the AFL Academy and Gippsland throughout 2023 to be viewed as one of the leading key forwards among his class.

Ollie Murphy

The Sandringham Dragons defender took out the MVP honours for Vic Metro following a breakout National Championships run.

Stands at two metres tall and can offer run and clean ball use from the back third as well as an elite marking and intercept ability.

Murphy's range has been wide throughout this year's draft discussions, but a selection for his services shouldn't be too far into night two.

Archie Roberts

A half-back flanker who can run hard over long and short distances given his balanced strengths of aerobic running and explosive bursts.

Is a good accumulator of the ball and didn't look out of touch when moved into the midfield at times this year for Sandringham.

Impressed at the combine and would be considered unlucky not to fetch a selection in the top 30.

George Stevens

A big-bodied midfield-defender that should have a number of suitors with a need for contested ball work and defensive hustle.

Stevens is a ready-made prospect who brings leadership qualities and grunt after a strong year with Vic Country and the GWV Rebels.

Has links with Geelong after featuring for the Cats' VFL side on multiple occasions this year and even starred in his second matchup against Collingwood's reserves.

Mitch Edwards

A further 10 selections before Edwards' name is called will mean the Dockers get direct access to his services given his NGA ties to Fremantle.

The potential high ruck prospect entered 2023 in the top five discussions but an injury-hit season has seen him slide to be a second-round chance.

The Dockers will be hoping he's still free after Pick 40, but there'll be a number of bidders early after fellow ruckmen Will Green and Taylor Goad were selected on Monday night.

Logan Morris

A mobile yet powerful key forward who players above his height, Morris is one of the best key position prospects still on offer.

Has an elite leap and marking combination that helps him crash packs, while his goalkicking routine won't need much work.

The Magpies were linked to the Western Jets talent with their opening selection and will be hoping Morris slides to their next pick.

Luamon Lual

An NGA talent for the Bulldogs, who will have their fingers crossed Lual slides past the Pick 40 mark where they can get direct access to the line-breaking backman.

Is a hard-running defender who is a good one-on-one defender and pressure player that is as damaging on defence as he is on the transition.

The Bombers could be one to lodge a bid for Lual before the Dogs get a sniff.
