Night one of the 2023 AFL Draft saw 29 prospects reach their dreams of becoming a professional footballer, with a similar tally of teenagers set to follow their footsteps on Tuesday night.
Night one saw the year's best players drafted, while a number of bolters emerged and a total of seven father-son or Academy players earned bids to see the first-round selection tally balloon out to almost a top 30.
West Coast are set to open night two of the draft and will likely field offers from rivals for their selection of Pick 30, with Brisbane, Geelong, Carlton and Richmond to follow.
The Lions and Tigers are looking to make their opening selections early into the second round, and will have access to a number of formidable draft prospects who were overlooked on Monday night.

5. Mitch Edwards
A further 10 selections before Edwards' name is called will mean the Dockers get direct access to his services given his NGA ties to Fremantle.
The potential high ruck prospect entered 2023 in the top five discussions but an injury-hit season has seen him slide to be a second-round chance.
The Dockers will be hoping he's still free after Pick 40, but there'll be a number of bidders early after fellow ruckmen Will Green and Taylor Goad were selected on Monday night.
