There has been plenty of player movement this year, with trades, free agency signings and unfortunately, delistings.

With the cut to list sizes there has been more delistings than perhaps we are used to and that has seen some very formidable players let go.

With the pre-season draft coming up soon we take a look at the top ten players who should be given another chance on an AFL list in 2021.

*We have not included players like Marty Gleeson, Dylan Clarke and Matt Kennedy, who have been promised to be re-drafted.

7. Matthew Scharenberg

The former Magpies defender overcame troubling knee injuries to gain himself a spot in Nathan Buckley's best 22 before falling out-of-favour as Collingwood bolstered their back six.

Scharenberg is a great reader of the play and has a good football IQ, his injury troubles are a query but clubs would be able to get him through the door for very little and he may be worth the risk.

A return home to South Australia could be on the cards in a match for both the 25-year-old and the struggling Crows.
