Western Bulldogs star Bailey Smith is among the top names still unsigned at the club, with his future seemingly more and more likely to be at a rival side.
Smith will be missing all of 2024 with an ACL injury, leaving his trade value up for debate at the end of the season.
Speaking on SEN Breakfast, Channel Nine's Chief AFL reporter Tom Morris provided an update on Smith's situation, revealing a trio of clubs are in the mix for the former top ten pick.
“They're (Bulldogs) none the wiser about Bailey Smith," said Morris of Smith's situation.
“There are three clubs that as far as I can say are in the hunt for him - Collingwood, Geelong and Hawthorn.
“I'm not sure about Essendon. They have the finances, it's whether they want him.
“Bailey Smith has given no indication whatsoever to the Western Bulldogs that he wants to stay at all. There's a two-year deal in front of him, he hasn't even looked at it.
“It's going to be intriguing to see what happens, and then what's he worth in a trade after a year out of footy.”
With rumours circling Jamarra Ugle-Hagan and Tim English's future, it seems Smith is the most likely of the three to find a new home in the off-season.
Smith, 23, has averaged just shy of 24 possessions per game in his career and has proven to be a valuable asset to any club.
