With the new year upon us and all 18 clubs getting stuck into the thick of pre-season, it's time to remind ourselves who are the front-runners in each position across the league.

5. Nick Haynes

In a disappointing 2020 for GWS, Nick Haynes was a shining light amongst it all. The 28-year-old was consistent throughout the year earning him his first Kevin Sheedy Medal and A.A. blazer. Haynes averaged elite numbers in intercept possessions, marks, contested marks and spoils, putting him up their as one of the best interceptors in the competition.
