With Tom Wilson, a former Australian Boomer, set to make his debut for Collingwood this weekend, the topic of basketball backgrounds has come up (yet again).
With that in mind, we thought we'd rank our top 10 current players (based on current form) with a basketball background.
Here's what we went with:

6. Todd Goldstein
The Kangaroos veteran represented Australia at the Under-19 level after impressive feats with the Balwyn Blazers and Nunawading Spectres.
The 201cm ruckman eventually defected to football, featuring for the Oakleigh Chargers in the TAC Cup and has since been a steal for the Kangaroos, who took him at 37th in the 2006 Draft.

The dominant tall has been able to transition his basketball skills into his footballing ability as a great tap ruckman and strong contested ball winner.
