10. Tom Papley

Sydney's firecracker small forward kicks off our top 10. Papley was at his damaging best in the 2024 finals series, while his home and away season was one of his most consistent.

His antagonising style of play lifted his teammates when needed, and his positioning at the drop of the ball often led to goals off of his roving.

Kicking 36 goals in 2024, Papley went goalless just twice as the Swans surged for the minor premiership. Papley was instrumental in Sydney's two finals wins, kicking two goals with 16 disposals in the qualifying final, whilst snagging three major in a romping preliminary final over Port Adelaide.

Papley also averaged 12.1 pressure acts per game, highlighting his corralling ability as a speedy and agile small.
