Here is the final edition (10-1) of our top 50 AFLย players right now...
7. Christian Petracca
Having missed finals in 2024, Melbourne boast two of the top eight players in the competition entering 2025, with Christian Petracca still a sure top 10 player despite injury uncertainty.
Before the brutal collision with Darcy Moore ended his season, Petracca was performing at a clear All-Australian level with over 23 touches and a goal per game, ranking atop the league for score involvements.
All indications point to a comeback campaign for the 2021 Norm Smith medallist, having endured another super-human pre-season camp overseas and appearing close to full fitness ahead of 2025.
Whether he is playing at his primary club of choice remains up for discussion, but being the professional that he is, you can assume Petracca will be back to his best and justify his top 10 placement.
