Here is the second edition (40-31) of our top 50 AFLย players right now...
9. 32 - Tom Green
Tom Green is emerging as the next leader of GWS, drawing understandable comparisons to Carlton's two-time Brownlow medallist, Patrick Cripps.
He is a younger version of Cripps with more fleet footedness and a handball package like we've never seen before, often launching 25-metre bombs by hand out of congestion to the advantage of his teammate.
While he didn't fully meet the expectations of some to become a clear-cut top 10-15 player in the competition, Green still had a stellar 2024 campaign, polling a career-high 27 Brownlow votes. He still averaged a personal best in clearances and will still be one of the most crucial midfield forces in the league moving forward.
As GWS look to rebound from their 2024 straight sets finals exit, Green will be faced with more pressure than he's experienced in his short career thus far as the Giants fight for their first premiership in history.
