The future captain of Hawthorn put together another outstanding season for the brown and gold, playing all 22 games, taking the most marks in the competition (190 in total, 8.6 per game) during the home and away Season.
The premiership defender after a two-match imposed club ban midway through the season, returned to his intercept marking best. May is averaging 7.9 Rebound 50s per game, finishing second only to James Sicily.
The ever consistent Cat has carved out an excellent career since being taken as a mature-age recruit in 2017. Despite being suspended for four-matches for his head high bump on Tiger Dion Prestia, the 29-year-old hasn't missed a beat averaging 7.9 marks a match.
The 26-year-old has arguably had one of his best seasons since finishing third in the 2018 Brownlow Medal. The tough on-baller began this season off half-back after injuries to Chrisitian Salem and Trent Rivers. In the Round 3 victory over Essendon, Brayshaw took a whopping 20 marks.
In a disappointing season for GWS, Sam Taylor was one of the rare shining lights. His ability to quell the opposition's number one key forward was a major for the side, with the West Australian putting together one of the best intercept marking performances in the side's loss to Fremantle, taking nine.
The dashing defender enjoyed an excellent second season in the Navy Blue. With his booming kick, reminiscent of the days of "The Woof" started by Val Perovic and carried on by Ang Christou, the 28-year-old only gained further respect. Saad averaged 21.9 disposals in Season 2022.

The former number one pick was tremendous for the Navy Blues with his clean disposal efficiency and ability to burst away from stoppages clinical. Walsh averaged a career-high 32.1 disposals up from 29.8 last season.
The ball-magnet continues to show why his importance in the side is vital to the team moving forward. The 26-year-old led from the front averaging 28.4 disposals and is one of the highlights of 2022 for Suns fans.
If his brother Angus is having a tremendous year, then Andrew is definitely in the conversation. Brayshaw is part of an exciting Dockers midfield brigade, currently averaging 29.1 disposals per contest.
Richmond's enigma man has been fantastic. With his freakish ability around goals - the goal of the year contender against the Western Bulldogs. But it's his speed which put into the midfield which has given the Tigers a different dimension.
The ageless Cat continues to show why he could play on for another 2-3 years. Hawkins is set to crack the 60-goal mark in a season for the fifth time in his career. His devastating combination with Jeremy Cameron has put fear through opposition defences.
The Norm Smith Medallist has put another excellent year together averaging 28.3 disposals per game. His match-winning abilities and poise with ball in hand will be crucial in the Demons' Premiership defence.
The former Crow and Tiger has made his opportunity count in the hoops this season. Stengle has kicked 46 goals featuring in all 22 games for Geelong.
What a year it has been for Charlie Curnow. The hulking 25-year-old capped off his triumphant return to footy by taking home the Coleman Medal kicking 64 goals, becoming the first player since Brendan Fevola (75 goals in 2009) to kick 60 or more in a season for Carlton.
The Geelong forward kicked 59 goals from 21 appearances this year, teaming up with Tom Hawkins to form a formidable duo. The former Giant has averaged 16.2 disposals and 6 marks so far this year.
Another consistent season for the 5-time All-Australian with his ruck work contributing to the Demons' dominance in the clearances. It is the fifth time the skipper has had more than 500 hitouts in a season.
The superstar midfielder has taken his game to greater heights in season 2022. The contested beast and Brownlow Medal favourite is averaging a blistering 33.5 disposals per contest and 17.7 contested possessions per game.
The 2020 Brownlow Medalist has had a bounce back year. After an injury-hit 2021, the former Docker is showing all the trademark and class that secured him the prestigious award. Neale is averaging 30.1 disposals and 7.3 clearances.
Carlton's superman couldn't have done anymore to lift his side oh so close to breaking the club's nine-year finals drought. The contested bull averaged 28.1 disposals finishing fourth for most contested possessions behind Touk Miller, Lachie Neale, and Clayton Oliver.
The smooth moving Swan relished the opportunity to play more in the midfield making the opportunity count. The former 2015 first-rounder has averaged 24.9 disposals with his disposal key to the Swans' attacking forays.
Geelong's Mr-Fix-It has shown over 10 seasons why he is key cog in the Cats' hopes of winning a premiership for the first time since 2011. The former steeplechaser has curtailed opposition players whether playing down back, as a tagger, or even in the ruck.
The rejuvenated Tiger has been one of this season's most improved players. Flourishing in a new role off half-back, the 25-year-old has had a career-best season averaging 20.6 disposals with his run an important piece to Richmond's structure.
