GWS have bid farewell to ruckman Braydon Preuss after he was not offered a new contract for the 2025 season.
Preuss endured a luckless spell during his time in New South Wales, playing just 10 games in his four years with the club.
A number of injury matters continued to sideline the 29-year-old, who did not play at AFL level in three of his four seasons with the Giants.
โWe'd like to thank Braydon for his contributions over the past four seasons,โ GWS football boss Jason McCartney said.
โUnfortunately, Braydon struggled with ongoing injuries during his time with the club which impacted his ability to play consistent footy.
"Braydon continued to support his teammates throughout his challenges with injury and in the back half of this season stepped into a role in our VFL program.
โWe'd like to wish Braydon all the best for the future.โ
Preuss started his career with North Melbourne as a rookie in 2015 and would play eight games in four years at Arden Street before seeking a move to Melbourne.
The ruckman would spend just two seasons as a Demon before moving north to GWS for better opportunities.
His departure from the Giants comes after the club confirmed the incoming exits of free agents Nick Haynes and Isaac Cumming.
