The three men charged with an alleged assault on former North Melbourne footballer Jack Ziebell have been named in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
According to reports from NCA Newswire, Ibrahim Behluli, 21 years of age, Abdul Karim, 29, and Masihullah Rawani, 27, were fixed to face court after being levelled with charges following the alleged attack on Ziebell in late-August.
As the case was adjourned, the trio did not appear in court, however, eac was named within court documents.
Each of messrs Behluli, Karim and Rawani are said to be facing charges of ommitting affray by using unlawful violence. The former, Mr Behluli, has also been charged with intentionally causing injury to the former Kangaroos skipper and unlawful assault by kicking.
The attack on Ziebell took place The Osborne Rooftop & Bar on the evening of August 20, mere hours after the Shinboner's hung up the boots following a 280-game career at Arden Street.
Now at Tigerland as an assistant coach, Ziebell has made a full recovery from the vicious attack, with the 32-year-old's many facial injuries having healed following surgery to his nose.
Messers Behluli, Karim and Rawani are expected to appear in court at a later date.
