Joel Amartey, Matthew Ling and Lewis Melican have all put pen to paper on new contracts with the Swans.

Melican has signed a three-year extension, keeping him in Sydney until 2023, while Amartey and Ling have signed on for a further year.

Swans Executive General Manager of Football Charlie Gardiner was thrilled with being able to secure three of the club's brightest youngsters.

โ€œWe are very excited about the young group of players we have and are committed to investing in that group to take us forward,โ€ Gardiner told the club website.

โ€œLewis has overcome some injury battles in recent seasons to show us he can be a long-term key defender at AFL level.

โ€œMatt and Joel both got a taste of senior football this season and have shown that they have exciting futures ahead of them.โ€

Melican was pick 52 in the 2014 draft and has played 46 games for the club since then.

Ling played his first match for Sydney in Round 8 this year against the Hawks after being drafted in 2017, whilst Amartey was a debutant in Round 20 against the Lions.
