Richmond have announced star duo Dylan Grimes and Dion Prestia have signed new deals with the club, extending their stay at Punt Road.

Grimes has penned a new two-year extension that will keep him at the Tigers until the end of the 2023 season, adding to his 171 games in the yellow and black.

Prestia has signed a three-year extension onto his tenure with Richmond, securing his services to the club until the end of the 2024 season.

The two triple-premiership players will be looking to add a third-straight flag in 2021, with Tigers' general manager of football talent Blair Hartley stating the signing news is a great boost to the club's season preparations.

โ€œBoth Dylan and Dion have been a massive part of our recent success and are driven and hungry to help us strive for more over the coming years,โ€ he said, per the club website.

โ€œDylan has been a fantastic servant of the Clubโ€™s for a long period of time and continues to set high standards for all of our players on and off the field.

โ€œHe is an excellent mentor for our young defenders and one of the best performing players in the competition.

โ€œLikewise, Dion has been a consistently high performer for us across several years.

โ€œIt has been pleasing to see Dion rewarded for his hard work in recent years, but it has not changed his desire to keep pushing himself and the group forward.โ€

Grimes is now secured to play a 13th and 14th season with the Tigers, while Prestia will now have three more seasons to add to his 164-game career.
