First-year Tiger Noah Cumberland has ruptured his ACL at training on Thursday, the club announced.
It rules the 19-year old out for the rest of the 2020 season.
“We’re all incredibly disappointed for Noah, he returned to the Club in great condition, and was training very well before his injury occurred,” Richmond’s General Manager of Football Performance Tim Livingstone told richmondfc.com.au.
“Noah is a promising young player, and we believe he has a bright future in the AFL. We will all support him on his road to recovery.”
Cumberland was drafted to Richmond with pick 43 in last year's draft.
