Zero Hanger Tipping: Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern participation in Zero Hanger Tipping ("Competition"), organized by Zero Digital Media Pty Ltd ("Organizer").
1.2 By entering, participants ("Tippers") agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The Competition is open to residents of any country aged 18 and above.
2.2 Employees of [Organizer] and their immediate family members are not eligible to win prizes.

3. Registration & Entry

3.1 Tippers must register for a user account via zerohanger.com/register before entering the competition].
3.2 User must verify date of birth to be eligible to play (18+ only).
3.3 False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

4. How to Play

4.1 Tippers must submit their tips before the start of each NRL round.
4.2 Tips can be entered via zerohanger.com/tipping and must be finalized before the official match start time.
4.3 If a Tipster fails to submit tips for a round, they will receive the default score of the away team.
4.4 Tipsters will not receive any points for games completed before registration in the competition.

5. Scoring System

5.1 Points are awarded based on the official PointsBet betting odds on the selected team at the time the tip is locked in. The formula is:

Odds x 100 = Points Earned

  • Example: If you tip a team with odds of $1.19 and they win, you receive 119 points.
  • If you tip a team with odds of $1.87 and they win, you receive 187 points.
  • If your selected team loses, you receive 0 points.

5.2 If the game result is a draw/tie you will receive 50% of your selected team's odds

  • Example: The Warriors-Storm game ends in a 18-18 tie.
  • Tipsters who tipped the Warriors at $2.10 will receive 105 points (2.10*100 /2)
  • Tipsters who tipped the Storm at $1.78 will receive 89 points (1.78*100 /2)

5.2 Dynamic Odds:

  • Odds are subject to change and are updated in real-time.
  • Tippers may update their selection at any time throughout the week before the match starts to secure better odds.

5.3 The official odds used for scoring will be sourced from Pointsbet.

5.4 The leaderboard updates after each round and ranks players by total accumulated points.

6. Prizes

6.1 The winner is the Tipster with the highest total points at the end of the NRL season.
6.2 Prizes are as follows:

  • First Place: [Prize details]

    6.3 In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by [e.g., most correct rounds, closest margin tips, or a tiebreaker question].

7.1 The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify and remove any Tipster suspected of cheating or using multiple accounts.
7.2 Any disputes will be reviewed by the Organizer, and the Organizer's decision is final.

8. Changes & Cancellation

8.1 The Organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition due to unforeseen circumstances.
8.2 Changes will be communicated via email.

9. Privacy & Data Use

9.1 By entering, Tippers consent to the collection and use of their details for competition and marketing purposes.
9.2 Personal information may be shared with third parties.

10. Liability & Disclaimer

10.1 The Organizer is not responsible for technical issues, late entries, or force majeure events.
10.2 Participation is at the Tipster's own risk.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
