As the 2018 AFL season draws to a close, there have been plenty of games for the fans to enjoy, none more so than these 10.
Honourable mentions:
Round 20 - Hawthorn def. Essendon
Round 2 - Hawthorn def. Geelong
Round 3 - Port Adelaide def. Brisbane
Round 5 - St. Kilda drew with GWS
Round 17 - Sydney def. North Melbourne
8. Round 15 - Western Bulldogs 16.7 103 def. Geelong 15.11 101
It seemed like every week for Cats fans that they would be tuning in to see a nail biting finish, sometimes they were the beneficiary, not on this occasion.
The Bulldogs had a 24-point lead early in the third term before the Cats stormed back to take the lead into three quarter time, from there it was an arm wrestle in the last.
The Dogs had a nine point lead with 30 seconds left as Gary Ablett sharked a goal from the stoppage to create the frantic finish.
From there the Cats won the stoppage and Mitch Duncan went long for Harry Taylor who took a big contested mark. Unfortunately for Cats fans, Taylor's shot after the siren never looked likely as the Bulldogs snapped a five game losing streak.
