As the 2018 AFL season draws to a close, there have been plenty of games for the fans to enjoy, none more so than these 10.

Honourable mentions:
Round 20 - Hawthorn def. Essendon
Round 2 - Hawthorn def. Geelong
Round 3 - Port Adelaide def. Brisbane
Round 5 - St. Kilda drew with GWS
Round 17 - Sydney def. North Melbourne

4. Round 20 - Richmond 12.13 85 def. Geelong 12.10 82

Richmond won its 19th consecutive game at the MCG on this occasion, holding off a fast finishing Geelong to cement themselves at the top of the ladder.

The game appeared to be over when Sam Lloyd put the premiers 23 points up 16 minutes into the last quarter before the Cats fought back.

Goals from Tom Hawkins, Cam Guthrie and Sam Menegola put the Cats within striking distance and superstar Gary Ablett had the chance to put his team in front very late on but missed badly.

In the end it was the Tigers who took home the win, ensuring their MCG stranglehold remained alive.
