For what has been a tumultuous decade for the Melbourne Demons, the club looks to have produced a number of players who may just go down as future club legends.
The Dees have only managed to reach September just once in that time, and while the highly sought after top draft selections came their way, only a few have lived up to the hype.
Many of the club's current best have erected from outside of the club's first-round picks or via father-son selection, with the clubs current future relying on those from their more glorified past.
Five players have won the honour of being selected into the league's All-Australian side over the past 10 seasons, with just the seven total selections shared between the quintet.
After going backwards this season, Melbourne will be desperate to start the new decade with a fresher start, hopefully matching the season they had in 2018.
7. Bernie Vince
Vince's arrival from Adelaide can be seen as a great gamble by the Demons, with the club able to use their compensation pick from losing Colin Sylvia to Fremantle to land the Crows midfielder.
Sylvia failed to make an impression in the west while Vince played every game for the Demons as one of their best players in 2014, which included a 41 disposal performance against North Melbourne in round 14.
The next season Vince found his groove in the red and navy blue as an attacking tagger within the Demons' engine room. Vince was awarded at season's end as the Dees' Best and Fairest ahead of Jack Viney by one vote and polled 14 Brownlow votes for the year.
2016 saw Vince move to defence, sharing the workload between the back flank and the midfield, playing all but one match for the year.
Vince capped 17 matches in 2018 - his lowest total for the Demons - retiring at the end of the year after battling a shoulder injury that cut his season short.
Vince ended his career with Melbourne on 100 games and 33 goals over a five-year period.
