St Kilda's Anthony Caminiti has been sent straight to the AFL Tribunal, charged with striking Collingwood's Nathan Murphy during the Saints' Round 5 loss.

The MRO graded the final term incident, which left Murphy concussed and ruled out of Round 6's ANZAC Day clash, as intentional conduct, severe impact and high contact, with Caminiti to spend at least four weeks on the sidelines.

The ban will see Caminiti miss St Kilda's upcoming clashes against Carlton, Port Adelaide, North Melbourne and Adelaide, and potentially further.

Another charge has also come out of the twilight clash, with Taylor Adams hit with a one-match suspension for his dangerous tackle on St Kilda's Seb Ross, which will see him miss ANZAC Day against Essendon.

Ross' head was seen hitting the turf in the tackle, but the Saint played out the remainder of the game, with the MRO grading the incident as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

Adams is set to join Caminiti at the AFL Tribunal, with the club set to contest the charge to hopefully clear the midfielder for next Tuesday's clash against Essendon.

Giant Tom Green has also been suspended for one match for his tackle on Hawk Josh Ward late in the second term on Sunday, set to be sidelined for Round 6's clash against Brisbane.

Ward was awarded a free kick in the aftermath of the incident, with the MRO grading the tackle as careless conduct, medium impact and high contact.

The Giants confirmed on Tuesday that Green has accepted his one-match ban.

The AFL tribunal is set to be held on Tuesday afternoon, with Bomber Zach Merrett already in line to contest his one-week dangerous tackle ban. Merrett's case will be first up on Tuesday, to start at 4:00pm.
