Collingwood is set to sign premiership trio Scott Pendlebury, Steele Sidebottom and Will Hoskin-Elliott imminently while young ruck Oscar Steene is likely to live the same fate.
Pendlebury - who is nearing his 400th AFL game - is expected to extend his time at the AIA Centre for another year.
The 36-year-old is set to feature in his 20th season at the club, with both parties nearing a new contract, according toย ABC.
Scott Pendlebury on his contract: โWeโre in talks at the moment. Iโd say itโs looking more than likely that Iโll play on next year. Weโve still got a couple of things we need to get through and I need to get through the year as well.โ@abcsport

The same can be said for Sidebottom and Hoskin-Elliott, with the latter more likely to continue his career in the black and white.
The former Giant has been a plug-and-play type role player for Craig McRae and has been pivotal across multiple lines in 2024.
NewsCorp reported that "a one-year deal for 2025 looming most likely" for Hoskin-Elliott, who is still a consistent contributor for the Pies.
However, the fate of Sidebottom remains in the air, although a role switch to half-back could have extended his career, at least for one more year.
The two-time premiership Pie has played predominantly wing since joining the club ahead of the 2009 season, but a shift to the halfback line has opened up more possibilities across the field.
Sidebottom has only missed one match in 2024 after being "managed" but has returned to his high-end performances in recent weeks, including gathering 34 disposals in the loss to Essendon.
A call on the silky right footer is likely to be revealed later in the year.
Steene is the fourth Magpie set for contract talks in the coming weeks as the club looks to lock away their future.
The untried 201cm tall has been sidelined with injury for the majority of 2024 but is seen as a replacement for Mason Cox and back-up to Darcy Cameron.
The 20-year-old joined the Pies as a pre-season supplemental selection ahead of the 2023 season.
Jeremy Howe and Oleg Markov are also without deals beyond 2025, as are Joe Richards, Aiden Begg, Charlie Dean, Nathan Kreuger and Reef McInnes.
Pre-season selections Lachie Sullivan, Jack Bytel and Josh Eyre are also eyeing extensions while mid-season pick-up Ned Long is in the same boat.
Collingwood's premiership defence is on shaky ground after a third consecutive defeat at the hands of Geelong.
The Pies sit idly in 10th position and could fall as low as 12th at the conclusion of Round 18, pending wins from the Western Bulldogs and Gold Coast.
