Richmond has significantly bolstered its youthful stocks after agreeing to terms on respective deals with talented Tiger cubs Matt Coulthard, James Trezise and Seth Campbell.

Each of the rookie-listed names has signed a one-year extension and will remain at Punt Road until at least the cessation of the 2024 season.

While all three had their path paved to Tigerland via the rookie draft, both Coulthard and Trezise managed to earn AFL experience across the course of their debut season.

Coulthard, 22, turned out in yellow on black on five occasions, even slotting a goal on debut against the Hawks in Round 19.

While only earning his stripes during Richmond's final round bout against North Melbourne, Trezise, also 22, left an imprint on the Tiger Army, racking up 17 disposals across half-back in Trent Cotchin and Jack Riewoldt's final game.

Although he has yet to taste senior action, Campbell remains a shot in 2024 after injuries to his groin and legs kept him to just five reserve appearances.

Speaking in the wake of the bulk re-signings, Tigers GM of footy talent Blair Hartley was emphatic in his praise.

"Matt and James have adapted well to the demands of AFL football, and it has been exciting to see both already receive opportunities at senior level," Hartley said in a club statement.

"These extensions are a reward for their hard work, and we look forward to seeing them back in 2024 and able to complete their first AFL pre-season, which will be greatly beneficial.

"Seth has missed a lot of football this year, but his attitude and commitment towards developing as an AFL player has remained strong.

"We think Seth's body will be well equipped for the upcoming pre-season and look forward to seeing what he can achieve in 2024 and beyond.

"Like the other two boys, Seth has thoroughly deserved his contract extension."
