Collingwood's Joe Richards is said to be facing a month on the sidelines due to a foot injury sustained in Friday's win over Fremantle, while senior pair Mason Cox and Brody Mihocek are also set for long stints on the sidelines.
Both Cox and Mihocek were unable to finish the game against the Dockers due to knee/concussion and hamstring injuries respectively, while Richards' ailment was not known at full-time of the Round 11 bout.
Mihocek will now be sidelined until Round 14 at least, while Cox is facing six weeks on the sidelines with an MCL injury.
Scans have also revealed Richards has sustained a fourth metatarsal fracture and will require a month on the sidelines, with a return to come no earlier than Round 16.
The news doesn't get any better for the Magpies, with star midfielder Jordan De Goey to miss a further month with his abdominal issue.
De Goey was sidelined for the trip to Perth with the issue after overcoming a groin injury, with his return timeline now set for up to four weeks.
"After experiencing groin awareness during Collingwood's Round 10 match against Adelaide, further assessment revealed Jordan De Goey sustained an acute rectus abdominal tendon tear," the club revealed.
"The 28-year-old is working through his rehab program and is expected return within three to four weeks."
Veteran Jeremy Howe is expected to be able to face the Western Bulldogs this week following a recent groin strain.
Reef McInnes, Jack Bytel and Josh Carmichael and working through concussion protocols, with Bytel a strong chance to be available this week while the other two require further monitoring.
Jamie Elliott (vascular), Will Hoskin-Elliott (hamstring) and Josh Eyre (hamstring) could all be available by Round 13 as they work through rehabilitation. Midfielder Tom Mitchell continues to recover from plantar fasciitis and could return between Rounds 13-16.
