Harley Bennell's career is at the crossroads after being kicked out of a Perth pub on Sunday night, as reported by the West Australian.
It is understood that the Dockers midfielder was asked to leave the Ocean Beach Hotel in Cottesloe around 7pm for being too intoxicated.
The incident comes just three months after Dockers general manager of football Peter Bell said that Bennell was on his last warning at the club.
Bell confirmed the incident to News Corp.
“The club is aware that Harley Bennell was asked to leave a licensed venue in Cottesloe on Sunday and complied with the request to do so," he said.
The former Sun has a chequered history of controversies, including being kicked off a Virgin flight in 2017 for being too intoxicated and being pictured on the front page of several newspapers in 2015 with an illicit drug.
After crossing to Fremantle in 2015, the 26-year old has played just two senior games for the club due to a series of injuries, but was surprisingly handed a one-year contract extension in August.
Bennell's manager Colin Young explained in October that his client was aware of his expectations with Fremantle after failing to turn up to the club's best and fairest.
“Harley knows exactly what he needs to do next year to get back to (being) an elite player,” Young told SEN radio.
“I think Peter was just reinforcing (Bennell) that if he has one hiccup, he’ll be out of the club. Basically that’s the truth of the matter.”
Bennell is set to return to training on January 7.
