Two perfect players to start season: AFL Coaches Association Champions Player votes – Opening Round

Only two players managed a perfect ten out of ten in Opening Round.

Carlton's Harry McKay and the Gold Coast's Matt Rowell have recorded perfect rounds to open the 2024 race for the AFL Coaches Association Champions Player.

Coaches vote on a 5,4,3,2,1 basis after each home and away game to determine the award, and while Isaac Heeney and Brodie Grundy managed to score nine votes on the Swans' opening weekend, it was McKay and Rowell who took out the top spots.

Here are all the votes for the opening four games of the new AFL season.
