At least two clubs, including St.Kilda, have made advances toward Cat Daniel Menzel's management about a possible move.

Manager Adam Ramanauskas said while Menzel is more than keen to stay with the Cats, if he were offered a multi-year deal at another club, there would be consideration.

Menzel has signed one-season deals with the Cats in recent times after spending the better part of four years watching from the sidelines following numerous knee reconstructions.

Ramanauskas told RSN927 there was "not just one suitor" for his client's services, stating that other clubs have shown interest.

Menzel began season 2018 with gusto, booting 15 goals in five games before a troubling reaction to an injection put him out until round 17.

"There's probably a moment in most players' career where people see what they actually can do rather than what they can't do," Ramanauskas said.

"It's more likely he'll stay at his club, but at the same time, and this is absolutely no different to last year, if there's a multi-year offer for Daniel at another football club, he has to consider it. I can't be any more clearer than that."

Menzel has played 70 games and kicked 132 goals for Geelong since debuting for the club in 2010.
