St Kilda have signed on two of their rookie-listed players for the next twelve months.

Darragh Joyce and Doulton Langlands have both inked new deals with the Saints after the pair were set to go out of contract at the end of 2018.

General Manager of Football Simon Lethlean said the duo have both earned their spots on St Kilda's list for next year.

โ€œWeโ€™ve been really impressed by what weโ€™ve seen from Darragh and Doulton,โ€ Lethlean told the club's website.

โ€œDarragh managed to make his debut in Round 15 against the Dees and did a really solid job against Jesse Hogan.

โ€œHis elite athleticism and one-on-one defenceย isย really impressive, particularly when you put into context that heโ€™s only been playing football for the past few years.

โ€œDoulton has also made really great strides since being drafted at the end of last year.

โ€œHeโ€™s an explosive two-way runner with the ability to burst out of stoppage.

โ€œHeโ€™s proved himself as a handy wingman and forward at VFL level, and Iโ€™m sure heโ€™ll be banging down the door for senior selection next year.โ€

Joyce was drafted to the club in 2017 as an international rookie, meanwhile Langlands made the move from Albury after being selected with pick No.8 in the Rookie Draft for 2018.
