Injury prone West Coast recruit Nathan Vardy has suffered a minor setback in his first pre-season at the Eagles.
Vardy, who recently told the club's website he feels in career best shape, was kept out of West Coast's intra-club match on Wednesday due to a minor knee injury.
The former Geelong ruckman recently suffered a knock to his medial ligament and is being managed by the club given his history with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, midfielders Elliot Yeo (calf) and Liam Duggan (hamstring) were also left out of the match and are being managed.
Duggan is expected to be sidelined for around a month before resuming full training, while Yeo will resume full training shortly.
