Details for the penultimate weekend of the AFLW season have been locked in, with Adelaide and Port Adelaide booking their spots in next week's pair of preliminary finals.
The Crows managed to handle the Dockers at Norwood on Saturday afternoon with some comfort to reach their seven preliminary final in their short history, extending their prolific finals impact for another season.
Adelaide are now scheduled to make the trip to Queensland's capital to face Brisbane at Brighton Homes Arena, with the two best sides in AFLW history going toe-to-toe for another grand final chance.
The Power erased a record 22-point three-quarter time deficit at Princes Park on Saturday night against Hawthorn to book their maiden preliminary final appearance, with a date with minor premiers North Melbourne scheduled for next Saturday afternoon.
Port Adelaide will need to hand the Kangaroos their first loss of the year to secure their place in the season decider, with the two clubs clashing at IKON Park as the opening game of the weekend.
Should North Melbourne be victorious, the 2024 AFLW Grand Final will be held at IKON Park the following weekend. Should they lose, then the decider could be played at either Norwood Oval (in the event Adelaide defeat Brisbane) or Brighton Homes Arena (in the event Brisbane defeat Adelaide).
