Port Melbourne has announced the signing of a recently delisted AFL midfielder.

Former Western Bulldogs ball-getter Robbie McComb is the Borough's newest player addition after the club announced the acquisition on Friday afternoon.

The 27-year-old was selected by the Bulldogs in the 2021 Rookie Draft after spending a fruitful period with Footscray in the VFL, during which he won the Dogs' best and fairest award and earned selection to the 2021 VFL Team of the Year.

McComb went on to play 18 games for the Western Bulldogs before being delisted at the end of this season.

15 of those 18 senior appearances came during the 2022 season, with the big-bodied engine-roomer averaging 12.1 disposals, 2.1 marks, and 1.5 tackles throughout.
