Former Western Bulldogs defender Dominic Bedendo is the latest AFL player to sign with VFL club Port Melbourne.
The Bulldogs delisted Bedendo at the end of the 2024 season, after two games spanning four seasons.
The 22-year-old was taken with Pick 55 in the 2020 AFL Draft from the Murrah Bushrangers, and will now ply his trade in the VFL competition.
The Borough announced the signing coup on social media.
Bedendo joins a host of former AFL players joining the standalone club in 2025.
Essendon duo Dyson Heppell and Tex Wanganeen will suit up for Port Melbourne next year alongside Richmond's Will Martyn, St Kilda's James Van Es and North Melbourne's Charlie Lazzaro.
The Borough have revamped its coaching panel as well, appointing former Western Bulldogs coach Brendan McCartney, while James Hird (director of coaching) and Adrian Dodoro (recruitment) have also been added to the mix.
Port Melbourne are looking to improve on their 16th-placed finish in 2024, winning six games.
