The VFL has named a 23-player side for Saturday's state game against the SANFL, with 16 of those selected being former AFL-listed names.
Werribee champion Dom Brew will captain the Big V at Barossa Park, with 'Bees teammate Louis Pinnuck also named in the side.
Fellow 2024 grand finalists Southport have the most selected with four - Brayden Crossley, Campbell Lake, Jacob Heron and Boyd Woodcock - while Box Hill and Frankston have three each.
Woodcock and Crossley are among the contingent who haven't been listed with an AFL club in the past, while Harry Arnold, Riley Bonner, Jack Bytel, Sam Durdin, Will Hamill, Nathan Kreuger, Darcy Macpherson, Ethan Stanley and James Tsitas were all listed in the top flight last year.
14 of the 21 clubs will be represented in the side, which will be coach by Box Hill's Zane Littlejohn. The Hawks' Cal Porter has been named as the emergency for the VFL team.
Saturday's state game will be played at 2:45pm local time at Tanunda Recreation Park in the Barossa.
