Smithy's VFL Team of the Year squad has officially been selected, with 40 of the best going around at the reserves level recognised for their efforts in season 2024.
Several AFL -listed players made the cut, many having also featured for their senior side this season.
Three non-AFL -affiliated sides featured the most representatives, with ladder leaders Werribee celebrating six, Southport featuring four and Frankston having three.
Just one club, St Kilda reserves Sandringham, featured no representatives, a disappointing result for the Saints, who boast some young talent at the level, including Hugo Garcia and Arie Schoenmaker .
