VFL club Williamstown have announced delisted Adelaide forward Lachie Gollant as their latest signing for the 2025 season.

Gollant lands at DSV Stadium after five years on the Crows' list, with the 191cm forward playing 16 games across four separate seasons for the South Australian club.

The 23-year-old played four matches at the top level this year, booting one goal from an average of 5.5 disposals per game.

The Calder Cannons product spent most of his time in the SANFL for Adelaide and would claim leading goalkicker honours at the club for seasons 2023 and 2024.

Gollant booted 29 goals from 12 SANFL games in the most recent season to add to his haul of 42 majors from last year.

He returns to Victoria with a move to Williamstown, joining the Seagulls as an exciting coup for the standalone side.

"We're excited to announce that Lachie Gollant has signed with Williamstown for 2025," a club post read.

"Lachie made his AFL debut for the Adelaide Crows in 2021 and has since proven himself as a key forward. Averaging over 2 goals per game in the SNAFL in 2024, the 23-year-old was Adelaide's leading goal kicker with 29 goals across 12 games.

"With his strong goal-scoring ability and versatility, Lachie will be a fantastic addition to the team."

While already re-signing key players in Brodie McLaughlin, Luke Parks, James Cousins, Riley Collier-Dawkins, Joel Fitzgerald, Tom Downie and Aiden Bonar this off-season, the Seagulls have added the likes of Carter Michael and Hugo Hall-Kahan to their 2025 squad.

Williamstown finished eighth on the 2024 VFL ladder, recording 11 wins in the home and away season before exiting the premiership race at the hands of Brisbane's reserves in a semi-final.
