Fremantle's Michael Barlow has attracted interest from "a handful" of rival clubs as he weighs up his next move.

Barlow, who remains uncontracted for next season, is set to meet with Fremantle officials next week to discuss his future.

The 28-year-old's manager, Marty Pask, told SEN radio on Thursday morning that his client could be at a new club next season.

"He's (Barlow) got some interest from a handful of clubs, a couple of them Victorian," Pask said.

If he needs to search for a new home, a trade will need to be facilitated, as he is not a free agent.

“We'll just work through that (contract negotiations) at the moment, work out if (a trade is) going to be ... an option for him,” Pask added.

Barlow has played 126 games for the Dockers since making his debut in Round 1, 2010. He managed just 13 this season due to injury and losing his place in the side at different times.

He is likely to be one of a plethora of Dockers seeking new homes this off-season, with the likes of Hayden Ballantyne, Zac Clarke and Chris Mayne all rumoured to be on the move.
