The 2025 WAFL season will be played between Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, September 21 when it concludes with the grand final. Here is your guide to watching every game on TV, or live streaming state league Aussie Rules online.
The 2024 season saw East Perth ultimately winning the minor premiership ahead of Peel Thunder and Swan Districts, before falling to the Thunder in the grand final by 33 points over the latter at Optus Stadium.
The competition once again features ten teams, with five matches to be played during most rounds.
Most matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday throughout the competition, although specific public holidays will feature matches on other days.
How to watch the WAFL on TV in Australia
One match per week in the WAFL will be available on free to air TV through Channel 7. This broadcast will be restricted to people living in Western Australia.
Channel 7 can be found on digital TV at Channel 70 in high definition and 71 in standard definition, while it can be found on Foxtel at Channel 107. Some games may be broadcast on 7Mate or 7Two, and Zero Hanger suggests checking your local guides to confirm which channel the game will be broadcast on.
How to live stream the WAFL online
All games will be available to be streamed on Channel 7 via 7Plus, which is Channel 7's streaming service. This is free to join with a valid email address. Channel 7 have exclusive streaming rights for the 2025 season.
