Young Tiger Rhyan Mansell could face some scrutiny from the Match Review Officer after striking Magpie Jack Ginnivan with his forearm during the third term of Saturday's match between Richmond and Collingwood.
With the third stanza drawing to a close, a heated contest emerged in Collingwood's forward 50, with Ginnivan leaping over Tigers tall Ivan Soldo in hope of gaining possession of the Sherrin.
Mansell was the next to land on top of the pile of players, driving his arm into the back of Ginnivan's head.
While the first instance may have been an accident, Mansell seemingly repeated to strike the Ginnivan high with his forearm on a second occasion.
Ginnivan was left rubbing his head before slowly getting to his feet and walking to his side's huddle, while Mansell was soon met by fiery Magpies players.
With the siren soon sounding, no free-kick was paid and a melee between the two sides soon broke out.
Richmond led Collingwood by 29 points at the final break.
