The AFL Coaches’ Association have released their votes for the third week of the finals.
After a season in which Dustin Martin edged out Patrick Dangerfield for the AFLCA home-and-away season award, the coaches now voted for the Gary Ayres Award, which will determine the best player in the finals.
With Adelaide and Richmond advancing through to this season's grand final, both sides dominated the votes, although only one player could manage a nine or higher.
Charlie Cameron booted five for the Crows on Friday night in a best on ground performance, while honours were split on Saturday, as Dustin Martin and Daniel Rioli both polled eight votes.
That's enough for Martin to move to the top of the leaderboard however, and it will take some doing to knock him off that perch this weekend.
