West Coast's Sunday could go from bad to worse after an injury watch on co-captain Liam Duggan, key forward Jake Waterman and Jack Hutchinson following the 87-point drubbing.

Duggan was battling a persistent ankle injury that reared its ugly head during the heavy defeat.

His coach Andrew McQualter couldn't provide certainty around his skipper's availability next week as the club now looks toward the Brisbane clash.

"Not sure," McQualter said deflatingly.

"He was troubled by it a bit late in the game so, again, we'll do our work, let the medical team decide where it lands."

Waterman - who is fresh off a maiden All-Australian blazer - was subbed from the contest in the third term and replaced by Ryan Maric with a calf issue.

The 26-year-old had been battling a minor calf complaint throughout the week, but McQualter alluded to the "precaution" around the decision.

"Yeah, he's okay," McQualter said.

"It was more precaution rather than anything else. The game was where it was at that stage and we thought we'd make a smart decision on that."

As for Hutchinson, the winger spent large chunks of time on the bench, tending to what appeared to be "awareness" in his hamstring.

"He just had some awareness late so I'm not sure. We'll have to go away and look at it.

"And when we can get some clarity on it, we'll let you know."

The Eagles have plenty to work on after being bullied throughout the entire match.

McQualter's men lost the clearance count by 17 (50-33), inside 50s (67-34) and contested possessions (145-102) in a demolition.

Midfielders Tim Kelly and Harley Reid struggled to make a meaningful impact, combining for 26 touches and five clearances.
