West Coast has announced the return of the club's iconic theme song 'We're Flying High' from Round 1 onwards as players run through the banner and celebrate victories.

As a part of their rebrand in 2020, which included the opening of Optus Stadium and the removal of banners for an inflatable tunnel players would run through, a new, re-worked club song released that featured a powerful tribute to the Eagles' indigenous heritage.

Written, composed and produced by Birds of Tokyo's Ian Berney, while the band's lead singer Ian Kenny has been recorded singing the melody, the revamped theme song wasn't met with the adoration the club was hoping for, and has prompted a change.
