West Coast having seemingly set their demands for wantaway small forward Junior Rioli.

Three weeks ago the 2018 Premiership player requested a trade to Port Adelaide with the Eagles bitterly disappointed with his decision.

According to NCA Newswire reporter Marc McGowan, the Eagles have their eyes on the Power's 27th pick, which was attained after winger Karl Amon's departure to Hawthorn as an unrestricted free agent.

Rioli's decision to depart hasn't sat well with West Coast, who looked after him throughout his ASADA ban, with the club looking to get the best compensation out of the crafty small forward.

In a statement following his trade request, West Coast CEO Trevor Nisbett said "we couldn't have done any more to support Junior since his infraction in 2019".

Last month, Rioli caught up with Power great and 2004 Premiership player Shaun Burgoyne, where he spoke of his desire to play for the teal, black, and white in 2023.

With Port Adelaide working to pursue Junior Rioli, they are also looking to bring in former number one pick Jason Horne-Francis who wants to return home to South Australia.

North Melbourne list manager Brady Rawlings said the Power would have to deliver more than their Pick 8 in November's draft and a future first-rounder to satisfy the club.

Port Adelaide list manager Chris Davies has ruled out youngsters Xavier Duursma, Zak Butters, Miles Bergman and Josh Sinn as part of the trade package.

Meanwhile, the Power are pursuing Geelong big man Esava Ratugolea after the 24-year-old received limited opportunities this season as the Cats went all the way to claim this year's premiership.

However, Cats list manager Andrew Mackie has looked to rule him out of trade talks.
