New faces: The last trade completed, Josh Schache finally got his move back to Victoria with seconds left on the clock. But he will have to wait for senior opportunities behind incumbents Jack Redpath and Tom Boyd.

The Bulldogs also added Hayden Crozier from Fremantle and addressed their key back deficiencies, with Jackson Trengove, who slots straight into the 22 and Aaron Naughton, who they took with their first pick of the draft.

On the fringe: New Dog Schache hardly set the world alight during his time in Brisbane and will have to wait for his first senior game. Lin Jong has been unlucky with injury and his time out of the game means he has lost his spot in the 22.

Regardless, Jong should see senior action towards the end of 2018. Youngsters Josh Dunkley and Lewis Young will also be given plenty of senior opportunities.

First picked: Marcus Bontempelli

Last picked: Hayden Crozier
