Western Bulldogs Mid-Season Draft selection Caleb Poulter will make his Bulldogs debut this weekend against Fremantle.

Poulter, who was delisted by Collingwood at the end of last season after managing 12 games, was selected 10th by the Bulldogs at May's Mid-Season Draft.

"I'm pumped," Poulter told westernbulldogs.com.au on Thursday.

"'Bevo' (coach Luke Beveridge) gave me a call yesterday and I missed it initially, thought this could be really good or really bad."

"It's been a pretty hectic 3-4 weeks, but the boys have welcomed me in with open arms. I am really looking forward to it."

"As soon as anyone gets to the club they want to improve and earn the respect of teammates and coaches."

"I want to come in and make an impact."

Poulter had been playing with the Dogs' VFL side up until Mid-Season Draft night when the wingman's AFL dream was realised for a second time.

The remainder of the Bulldogs' selected squad for Saturday's bout is set to be announced at 6:20 PM AEST on Thursday.

Poulter and the Bulldogs play the Dockers at 1:45 PM AEST on Saturday at Marvel Stadium.
