100 recently listed AFL players have already found new homes since either retiring or being delisted at the end of the 2024 season.
12 of those players have secured career lifelines at other clubs as either delisted free agents or signings via the Supplemental Selection Period.
The VFL has already recruited over 30 players straight out of the AFL this year, while the WAFL and SANFL have over 10 each so far.
The local football scene has rivalled the state leagues, nearing 30 players ahead of the new year.
