More than 60 recently listed AFL players have already found new homes since either retiring or being delisted at the end of the 2024 season.

Eight of those players have secured career lifelines at other clubs, while a further six stand a chance to find a new AFL club via the summer's Supplemental Selection Period as train-on prospects.

The VFL has already recruited close to 20 players straight out of the AFL this year, while the WAFL and SANFL have over 10 each so far.

The local football scene has rivalled the state leagues, already hitting double digits ahead of the new year.

Here we've tracked the movements of recently retired or delisted players for 2025 so far.
