Tigers legend Matthew Richardson has ranked his top seven AFL young guns on Sportsday.

The league is current littered with elite young talent, as seen in last year's 22under22 team.

Richardson graded 'young' players as those aged 22 years old or younger and based it off if he was building a team.

4. Noah Balta (Richmond)

It is scary for the rest of the league that another Tiger appears in Richo's list in Noah Balta. And we can't say he's being that bias!

Another Tiger who took full advantage of his senior opportunities last year to become one of Richmond's key defensive cogs.

Now in his third season, the 21-year old is arguably the best young key defender in the game.

Richo said: โ€œNoah Balta is in because he can play full-back, he can go into the ruck, a premiership full-back last year."
