It's once again the time of year in which we pin our hopes for happiness on some kids with potential.

Here is a comprehensive list of future stars we feel each club should - if available - be taking with their first pick in the draft

West Coast (Pick 62)

Whatever is available

When entering the draft in the third round, it seems foolish to plan on injecting top end talent. Your efforts are best served crossing your fingers that somebody slides.

For West Coast list manager Darren Glass, this is the scenario that faces him.

With so much yet to play out, Glass is likely to be focused upon which lines and positions need filling rather than the individuals who will.

Due to Tom Hickey's departure, the Eagles' ruck stocks have shrunk to simply Nic Naitanui, Nathan Vardy, Bailey Williams and Callum Jamieson. As the latter duo have three games between them and the former pair have had perennial injury concerns, Glass may well look to draft a mature aged tap man.

With spearhead Josh Kennedy ageing, the Premiership defender turned squad developer may be focused on finding future star Oscar Allen a forward fifty partner for the next decade.

Despite serious ambiguity around what will be available at pick 62, you can be certain that Glass won't just fire from the hip on draft night.
