Collingwood (Pick 14)

Reef McInnes

For anyone that has watched Collingwood play since their 2018 Grand Final loss, you'll be aware of exactly what their list lacks โ€“ a genuine and consistent tall forward.

Naturally, it will be list manager Ned Guy's aim to fill this void on draft night, but with the Pies entering the draft at pick 14, all of the talent worth chasing is likely to have been snapped up.

With this in mind, Guy's eyes will more than likely to shift to securing Next Generation Academy talent Reef McInnes.

At 192 centimetres, McInnes is without doubt referred to as a tall midfielder. With the ability to run 20 metres in 2.78 seconds, you can add quick to his growing list of adjectives.

Having played his NAB League football inside Collingwood's NGA zone of Oakleigh and with a Mother of Filipino decent, the midfielder is tied to Collingwood as an academy selection.

However, as McInnes is expected to drafted within the top 20, Collingwood may be forced into a bidding war for his services.

During his time as an Oakleigh Charger, McInnes proved his versatility as a footballer, having spent time on all three lines of the ground.
