It's once again the time of year in which we pin our hopes for happiness on some kids with potential.
As the draft is likely to yield far more questions that answers for the standard footy fan, we here at Zero Hanger have attempted to alleviate some of the ambiguity for you.
Here is a comprehensive list of future stars we feel each club should - if available - be taking with their first pick in the draft
Greater Western Sydney (Pick 10)
Denver Grainer-Barras
Having lost talent right across the park this off-season, it is imperative that Giants list manager Jason McCartney selects the best possible player in the position they have the most dearth.
Although Jeremy Cameron has left a grand canyon sized void in the forward fifty, at least McCartney has attempted to fill it with the addition of Jesse Hogan.
Due to this, it becomes clear that it is the defensive fifty that needs bolstering. Having lost Aidan Corr, Zac Williams and Heath Shaw from their list, either a tall defender or a skilful half back should be the Giants' prime objectives.
Should they choose the former, then Western Australian Denver Grainger-Barras is almost certain to be their first choice.
Although standing at 195 centimetres, Grainger-Barras is lightly built at just 78 kilograms. Despite his lack of bulk, the Swan Districts product has proven hard to beat in aerial contests.
With a 2.993 second 20 metre sprint time and a 8.13 time in the agility test, the big man is also quick on his feet.
Whether or not the defender is likely to fall to the Giants at pick is still yet to be determined.
