With the league's Mid-Season Draft set to take place on Wednesday this week, a portion of the 602-players that nominated their services are set to have their lives change forever.

For the budding youngsters that missed out on selection at last year's national talent market, it will offer them a chance to make their dreams come true - albeit a tad later than some of their peers.

For the wily veterans that have thrown their hats back into the ring, it will mean one last chance to lace the boots and keep their flames shielded from the wind for at least another six-months.

Despite the fact that not every side will enter the draft with a pick available, we have run a fine toothed comb through all 18-lists, and have made recommendations of talent for fans of every creed and clubs of every colour.

Here are the players every club should be considering on Wednesday night.

Hawthorn

Number of selections available - Two
Draft position โ€“ 2nd

Although the Hawks currently hold a pair of picks to pluck players at Wednesday's player market, Alistair Clarkson has indicated that his club are only willing to use one.

Whether or not 'Clarko' is pulling the wool over our eyes or not will soon be discovered, but what is already known is that their are two names that seem most likely to end up in brown and gold stripes - Ned Moyle and Jai Newcombe.

Moyle - a 19-year-old ruckman from the Oakleigh Chargers - has proven adept at both under age level and in his pair of VFL performances for Collingwood this year, averaging 27 and 19 hit outs respectively.

However, as the master coach suggested that Hawthorn would be looking to add a 'ready made' talent to their Waverley nest this week, it is Newcombe's name that looks the most likely to be called.

The highly talented 20-year-old has been averaging 23-touches per game at VFL level, all under the watchful eye of former Hawk and Box Hill head coach, Sam Mitchell.

Still, if the four time Premiership coach was channeling his inner Pinocchio last week, then expect to see both of the aforementioned pair join the Hawks' boil this week.
